Two men became Australia's first same-sex couple to hold a legally recognised civil partnership ceremony on Wednesday, under new laws which look set to be quickly overturned.....

Let us hope and pray that sanity, decency and compassion prevail over ignorant discrimination and cruel intolerance. Why oh why in this day and age do some people still believe that they have the right to say who can and who can't have their love recognised and respected under law.

Congratulations to Warren McGaw and Chris Rumble. They've been together for 20 years and I for one wish them continuing happiness.
