Homophobic Amazon?

It seem that Amazon, arguably one of the biggest book sellers on planet earth, has begun operating a policy that effectively discriminates against GLBT literature. It's stripping rankings from what it calls 'Adult' books. It seems that many GLBT themed books, fiction and non-fiction fall into this category and are having their rankings and searchability 'culled.' However, books with explicit content of a heterosexual nature are seemingly not affected.

This is a worrying state of affairs.
